Workshops
Instructors at the AGM will be Ian Whitelaw (Piping) and Glenn Kvidahl (Drumming). Both of these highly qualified workshop leaders will share information about how best to prepare for competition. The workshops will be presented immediately after the conclusion of the AGM at the UNLV Alumni Center.

The last part of their workshops will be a joint effort presented to both pipers and drummers about how to achieve the best ensemble when pipers play for drummers in 'solo' competition. From the drummers standpoint: what do I need to do to get the best from a piper who seems to consider this a burden? From the pipers standpoint: how can I best support the drummer who has honored me with a request to play for their solo competition? Tune selection, timing, preparation, ensemble considerations, presentation will all be fair game for discussion. Don't miss this great opportunity!
