DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Payson Scottish Festival’s \n40th year anniversary! \nFriday- July 12th and Saturday- July 13th 2024 \nat Payson Memorial park. \nThe Payson Scottish Festival is now accepting \nband and solo registrations! \nOnline entries are available through June 28th\, 2024. \nLate entries will not be accepted.\nClick HERE to register \nBAND EVENTS:\nThe Payson Scottish Festival is offering band competitions for grades 2-5 and\njuvenile.\nBands placing in 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd in each grade will receive prize money.\nWe are thrilled to announce our judges this year:\nJamie Cuthill\nSeumas Coyne\nRoss Naismith\nGraham Brown \nSOLO PIPING AND DRUMMING EVENTS:\n*Depending on the number of competitors\, Friday afternoon solos may start as\nearly as 2:00 PM.\nPiping: open and grades 1-5\nSnare: open and grades 1-5\nTenor and bass events in novice\, intermediate and open\nNovice practice chanter and practice pad \nSOLO EVENTS: Piping\nFriday afternoon (as early as 2:00):\nLight music grades 2\, 3\nPiobaireachd grade 4\nAll events for grade 5\, 1 and open\nPractice chanter\nAll side drum solo events\nPractice pad \nSOLO EVENTS: Drumming\nSaturday morning:\nLight music grade 4\nPiobaireachd grades 3\, 2\nTenor solo events\nBass solo events\n*Please note these events might change without notice due to the number of\ncompetitors and schedule changes.
