Proposed changes to WUSPBA Bylaws

All proposed changes to the WUSPBA Bylaws are subject to approval by a 2/3 vote of all bands (whose votes count as 7 per WUSPBA bylaws article 3, as specified in table 1), soloists, contest organizers, judges, lifetime members, executive committee members and members of the WUSPBA music board.

Proposed changes to WUSPBA Contest Rules

All proposed changes to WUSPBA Contest Rules are subject to approval by a simple majority vote of all bands (whose votes count as 7 per WUSPBA bylaws article 3, as specified in table 1), soloists, contest organizers, judges, lifetime members, executive committee members and members of the WUSPBA music board.

WUSPBA Solo members are not eligible to vote on proposed changes to band contest rules.

2017 WUSPBA AGM

The Western United States Pipe Band will holds it's Annual General Meeting on November 18, 2017 in Phoenix, AZ.

The AGM will be held at the Irish Cultural Center

There will be dedicated space for our party and we are asked by the
establishment to play from 7:30-8 PM for anyone who wishes to bring
instruments.

Officer elections

The positions of President, Executive Secretary, Treasurer and Band Registrar are up for election.

Current President Andrew Morrill, Executive Secretary Erin Gunn have stated that they will not stand for re-election. The association owes them, and their families, much gratitude for their time, effort, and dedication to the WUSPBA.
