Greetings to fellow Pipers and Drummers,
I am e-mailing to invite pipers and drummers to the 2015 Jim Thomson United States School of Piping and Drumming. The School will be held at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona during the week of Friday, July 10 through Friday, July 17, 2015.
Here are some of the highlights of the 2015 school.
The school is held on the NAU College campus, using their Music Hall for instruction and practice, and Gabaldon Hall for our dormitory.
The piping instructors include Bruce Hitchings, Aaron Shaw, Iain Macey, Robert Watt, Dixie Ingram, with Gordon Brown teaching snare drumming, and Stevie McQuillan teaching side drumming.
We are preparing an all new music book for this year.
McCallum bagpipes has donated a brand new set of bagpipes for our piping raffle this year.
Henderson Imports of Traverse City, Michigan has donated a Pearl snare drum for our drumming raffle.
The school’s website has additional information and registration is available!
