Utah Scottish Association Virtual Highland Games
The Utah Scottish Association queried bands and soloists for videos of past piping performances, and posted them on the day that the Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games, 12 – 14 June.
AGM
The Great Basin Branch AGM will be conducted via Zoom on 19 September. The meeting will follow our bylaws regarding voting for officers (Vice-President and Secretary), discussion and voting on changes to branch bylaws, and will allow for updates from local bands.
Youth Recruitment Initiative
2020 saw the introduction of the Youth Recruitment Initiative, but little action has been taken thus far. There is good interest from the bands in the GBB, and the year 2021 will see much more activity, with the formation of a multi-band committee.
