A plea from your president
Greetings,
I hope you are all enjoying the competition season and that you are having fun this summer.
As I have watched pipe bands and pipe band competitions come and go over the past three years it dawned on me that perhaps one of the things the pipe band association could do is to help out our games more. We have given support to bands in the past and have also provided some support to some of the games more recently. One of those potential games that needs some support is the Reno Celtic Celebration.
I would like to send out a plea and a call to bandsmen and soloists that can possibly make it to the Reno Celtic Celebration on October 3-4th. Bartley Ranch Regional Park, 6000 Bartley Ranch Road, Reno, Nevada
We need grade 4 and 5 bands. We would even open it up to grade III contests if we could get the bands.
