Welcome to the Contest Sponsor and Sanctioning Information page. Below are links to the documents required for your event to be sanctioned by the Western United States Pipe Band Association (WUSPBA). Once you have completed the Sanctioning Request Packet below, please send it and your proposed entry form to sanctioning@wuspba.org
WUSPBA 2025 Sanctioning Packet Fillable updated Feb 10th, 2025
Your packet and entry form will be reviewed by the Sanctioning Secretary and you will be notified with corrections or approval of your event. The sanctioning request process requires that you use judges in good standing with WUSPBA or their home association and eligible to judge the events you have assigned to them, offer sanctioned events listed in the Contest Rules, and submit the entry form reflecting the correct events as indicated in the Sanctioning Request Packet. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE YOUR ENTRY FORMS PUBLIC PRIOR TO BEING SANCTIONED IN CASE CORRECTIONS NEED TO BE MADE.
All contest organizers are invited to use the online registration system R2 Sports to take event entries; simply mark the box located on the first page of the Sanctioning Request Packet if you wish to do so.

After the contest, please send results to the respective registrar (see Sanctioning Request Packet Part D).

All WUSPBA Sanctioned events are governed by the organization's Bylaws and Contest Rules. A copy of the Contest Rules must be present on-site during your event to resolve any concerns that may arise pertaining to rules of the contest.
