Submitting Bylaws and Contest Rule Proposals
If you wish to submit a proposal to change the Bylaws or Contest Rules, please read How to Write an AGM Proposal. 3:00pm | Michael Grey: This is a 4 class series and the first class is complimentary to you! Join us for an "Introduction to creating Bagpipe Music". Michael will take you through the steps and thought process to create your own tune and discuss how to write harmonies. Sign ups to complete the course will be available on R2.

3:00pm | J. Reid Maxwell: A better understanding of the "Musical balance of the side drums, tenors and bass". The relationship between the mid section and side drums that also enhance the pipe music being played.

4:15pm | Donald Lindsay: "Why Piobaireachd?" This workshop includes a brief history, music layout, phrasing, technique approach and the benefits of adding piobaireachd to your solo contest. How to get started. Generally pipers shy away from this because they don't understand it and also don't know the benefits achieved when playing this type of tune. |
